Paul Lowin Qantas Youth Award

Triptych won the Qantas Youth Award of the Paul Lowin Prize. The piece is a chamber song cycle based on Chinese texts. Also at the Sydney award ceremony were Orchestral Prize winner Julian Yu, and Song Cycle Prize winner Brenton Broadstock; Andrew's teacher.

The prize money went towards a study tour that included lessons with John McCabe, and Ian Finkel on Broadway.
